Political posters

Political posters from the Centre de Documentació de la Comunicació (CEDOC), attached to the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and also from Josep Vinyals’ personal collection. Its chronological scope comprises mainly the democratic transition and first democratic elections. The posters reflect those years’ political activity: election campaigns at local, autonomy, Spanish and European level as well as trade unions publicity. There is also a number of twentieth century posters from different countries such as Italy, Chile, France, Portugal, Greece and the Soviet Union.
