Geologica Acta (ISSN 1695-6133 / ISSN electrónico desde 1696 hasta 5728) es una revista institucional y de acceso abierto, internacional y con un perfil generalista de Ciencias de la Tierra. La revista acoge tanto artículos de tipo conceptual como regional, con especial énfasis en las zonas del Mediterráneo, Sur América y el Caribe, pero sin dejar de considerar contribuciones de cualquier región del mundo. Igualmente se incentiva la publicación de números temáticos que den a conocer los resultados de proyectos o reuniones científicas internacionales.
