Uno de los rasgos más destacados de la producción de Leon Battista Alberti (1404-1472) es la formulación de dos visiones del mundo simultáneas y contradictorias. La erudición en Vera : ¿imitación o plagio?

El presente artículo destaca la importancia que Fernando de Vera y Mendoza concede a los clásicos grecolatinos en el Panegírico por la poesía (1627); si bien la mayoría de estas citas se encuentran en polianteas, misceláneas y otras obras que funcionan como verdaderas fuentes primarias del Panegírico, su autor evita la objetivación de este uso en el denso aparato erudito que acompaña al texto.
This article highlights the importance that Fernando de Vera y Mendoza gives the Greek and Latin authors in the Panegírico por la poesía (1627), although most of these classical quotes are in miscellanies and polianteas, and other works which are the true primary sources for Fernando de Vera who don´t quote these sources in his book notes because he doesn´t want anybody to know where he got this information from.

Sensus mythologicus atque astrologicus : la alegoría del Toro celeste de Góngora

El presente artículo tiene por objeto realizar un estudio pormenorizado de los seis versos iniciales de la Soledad primera de Luis de Góngora. Tomando en cuenta las lecturas antiguas y modernas, expone la dificultad y riqueza semántica de su entramado metafórico y muestra las más transitables vías hermenéuticas con vistas a ponderar su elaborada alegoría mitológica y astrológica, sugiriendo así una exégesis integral de ese sutil y significativo.

The main purpose of this paper is to make a detailed analysis of the six verses at the beginning of Luis de Góngora’s first Soledad. Based on the ancient and modern readings, it exposes the difficulty and semantic richness of its metaphoric tissue and shows the most viable hermeneutical approaches in order to examine its complex mythological and astrological allegory, suggesting a whole exegesis for this subtle and significant passage of Góngora’s poetry.
