La autora ensaya una reflexión acerca de la función de la sensualidad en el pensamiento agustiniano, a propósito de una obra de arte medieval: los tapices de "La dama del unicornio" que alberga el Museo Nacional de la Edad Media en Cluny. Para ello, en primer lugar, recuerda la factura de la obra, su datación y disposición, señalando, además, las principales interpretaciones de las que fue objeto. En segundo término, sobre la base de la simbología medieval, describe y analiza cada uno de los seis tapices que la componen, en los que, según la interpretación tradicional, ve representados los sentidos externos, reservando para el final el enigmático sexto tapiz, En tercer lugar, se remite, además de a otros lugares de la obra agustiniana, al libro X de las Confesiones, con centro en el Sero te amavi, para señalar algunos puntos del pensamiento de Agustín, poco subrayados, y muestra que ellos consienten una variante en la interpretación tradicional de estos célebres tapices medievales. Por último, sintetiza sus conclusiones, acentuando el carácter de mero ejercicio hermenéutico que su interpretación propone. |

The author tested a reflection on the role of sensuality in Augustinian thought about a work of art medieval tapestries "The Lady and the Unicorn" in the National Museum of the Middle Ages, in Cluny. To do this, first, remember the bill of the work, its dating and arrangement, noting also the main interpretations of which was the object. Secondly, on the basis of medieval symbolism, describes and analyzes each of the six tapestries that comprise, in which, according to the traditional interpretation, see represented the external senses, reserving for the end the enigmatic sixth tapestry, In third, it refers also to other parts of the Augustinian work, the book X of the Confessions, centered on Sero te amavi you to highlight some points of Augustine's thought, some underlined, and shows that they agree a variant in the traditional interpretation of these famous medieval tapestries. Finally, summarizes his conclusions, emphasizing the character of mere exercise proposed hermeneutic interpretation. |
