Abstract:	Der Jaussely-Plan (1907) und die sog. „Reforma", später Via Laietana genannt (1908), sind zwei große urbanistische Vorhaben, die die Stadt Barcelona zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts verändern. In diesem Beitrag untersuchen wir die Stellungnahmen, die Joan Maragall in seinen Artikeln und Gedichten zu diesen Projekten vorbringt; er zeigt sich dabei gegenüber dem Wachstum, das die Stadt zu diesem Zeitpunkt erfährt, als sehr positiv, ja enthusiastisch eingestellt, was im Gegensatz zur Meinung vieler seiner Zeitgenossen steht, die der Entwicklung skeptisch oder ablehnend gegenüberstanden. Maragall verkennt allerdings nicht die sozialen Konflikte, die diese urbanistischen Projekte letztlich nach sich ziehen, und nimmt hier bereits einige der Themen vorweg, die er später, in der Auseinandersetzung mit den Ereignissen der Setmana Tràgica von 1909, entfalten wird.
Abstract:	The Jaussely Plan (1907) and the "Reforma", later to be called Via Laietana (1908), are two important urban projects that significantly transformed the city of Barcelona at the beginning of the 20th century. In this contribution, we summarize and comment on what Joan Maragall said on these projects through his articles and poems. He reveals himself to be a strong supporter of these developments and of the expansion that the town experienced in those days, which is in clear contrast to the opinions expressed by some of his contemporaries, which were rather skeptical, if not totally opposed. Maragall, however, does not ignore the social conflicts that these urban developments are about to create and already anticipates some of the subjects that he will further develop later on, after the events of the Setmana Tràgica in 1909.
