Conèixer i comprendre l'organització i funcionament de les diferents arquitectures de computadors paral·lels, tant a nivell intern al node de còmput com a nivell de sistema Aplicar l'estratègia i metodologia adequada per a l'avaluació de les prestacions ( rendiment, fiabilitat , consum energètic . . . ) en un computador avançat, incloent la correcta selecció d'índexs, mètriques i eines de mesura i simulació Analitzar i interpretar els resultats de l'avaluació per identificar i quantificar els colls d'ampolla del rendiment ( còmput, memòria, comunicacions, entrada / sortida ) Conèixer, seleccionar, implementar i analitzar accions de millora de les prestacions. |

Know and understand the organization and operation of the different architectures of parallel computers, both internally to the compute node and at the system level Implement the suitable strategy and methodology for the evaluation of performance (response time, throughput, reliability, power consumption . . . ) in an advanced computer, including proper selection of indexes, metrics and measurement and simulation tools Analyze and interpret the results of the evaluation to identify and quantify the performance bottlenecks (computation, memory, communications, input / output) Understand, select, implement and analyze actions to improve performance. |
