La recuperabilidad de las elisiones en las oraciones de relativo

Resum:	Aquest treball tracta d'alguns aspectes de la regla d'elisió que origina oracions restrictives de relatiu. S'ha afirmat que la categoria suprimida en I'oració inserida no pot ser N, sinó SN o Nom, perqu8, si no és així, seria difícil d'evitar l'ocurrència d'adjunts nominals en el nom compartit de l'oració constituent que no apareixen en el nom cabdal de la matriu. Se suposa que el determinant del SN compartit en I'oracio inserida ha de tenir el tret [- DEF] a l'estructura profunda. En les llengües d'estructura VO (que col·loquen les seves oracions relatives en posició postnominal) una transformació de definitització canvia el valor d'aquest tret. La qualitat de [- DEF] del determinant inserit preveu la impossibilitat de l'ocurrencia del quantificador universal. Finalment, es proposa que el tret [- ESPEC] en el determinant de l'oració constituent pot explicar l'existencia en espanyol d'oracions restrictives de relatiu amb el verb en subjuntiu.
Resum:	This paper discusses some aspects of the deletion rule that produces restrictive relative clauses. It is claimad that the category deleted in the embedded clause cannot be N, but should be instead NP or Nom, because otherwise it would be difficult to prevent the occurrence of nominal adjuncts in the shared noun of the constituent sentence that are not present in the head noun of the matrix. It is assumed that the determinar of the shared NP in the embedded sentence must have the feature [- DEF] in underlying structure. In VO languages (which place their relative clauses in postnominal position), a transformation of definitization changes the value of this feature. The [- DEF] character of the embedded determiner predicts the imposibility of occurrence of the universal quantifier. Finally, it is proposed that the feature [k SPEC] in the determiner of the constituent sentence can account for the existence in Spanish of restrictive relative clauses with the verb in a subjunctive form.
