Abstract:	En esta comunicación se pretende hacer un análisis de las disposiciones legales que se promulgaron en la primera mitad del siglo XX, poniendo de relieve cómo ninguna de el las decretó la obligatoriedad de someter al ganado a la pruebade la tuberculina. Paralelamente, se destaca la reacción del mundo profesional veterinario ante la reiterada no inclusión de esta prueba diagnóstica.
Abstract:	The objective of this paper is to analyse the legal dispositions that were promulgated in the first half of the 20th century, showing the lack of obligation to subject livestock to the tuberculin test. In a parallel way, the response of the veterinary professional bodies faced with the repeated non-inclusion of such a test is emphasized.
