Resum:	El Oulipo es un grupo de literatura de segunda mitad del siglo XX que despierta mucha curiosidad por su originalidad y productividad y que permanece activo en el presente. Sus obras, salvo determinadas excepciones, no se consideran de interés comercial, sino un simple juego de escritura, por lo que no se han traducido y existen muy pocas de ellas que se puedan leer en español. Tomando la constricción como unidad central de producción, se ha atendido al análisis de su concepto, a su finalidad y a su resultado, para luego poder abordar el proceso traductor con conocimiento de causa.
Resum:	Oulipo is the name of a gathering of mainly French-speaking writers formed in the second half of the 20th century. Since it was founded, the group has at-tracted much attention as a result of its originality and high level of creative output, and is still active today. With some exceptions, the works tend not to achieve any commercial success, as they are considered to be more of simple play on words, as opposed to anything of real literary value. This explains the general lack of translations available in the Spanish language, in which very few examples of Oulipo can be found. In order to translate these works to the best of our ability, we have first chosen to analyse the central concept of using constraints (as a means of language production), and considered the aims and results of employing such a technique.
