Resum:	L'assignatura Zoologia es troba dins de la matèria de Biologia per a les ciències ambientals com una assignatura obligatòria. Comparteix aquesta matèria, i per tant competències, amb altres assignatures obligatòries con són la Microbiologia, l'Ecologia i les Ciències del sòl i un conjunt d'assignatures optatives com són: Anàlisi de la vegetació, Ecologia aplicada, Toxicologia, Microbiologia ambiental, Fisiologia ambiental i Genètica. La Zoologia és una assignatura obligatòria que consta de 6 crèdits ECTS i s'imparteix al primer semestre del segon curs. Al llarg d'aquesta assignatura, l'alumne ha d'adquirir els coneixements teòric-pràctics que li donin una visió, el més complerta possible, de les bases del coneixement zoològic i de la diversitat dels animals des d'una perspectiva ambiental, però també anatòmica, funcional, sistemàtica i filogenètica. Igualment li ha de permetre conèixer la diversitat animal i situar a cada grup animal en un context ecològic, conèixer la seva posició dins els ecosistemes en relació al nombre d'espècies, a l'hàbitat que ocupen i a la seva forma de vida, així com conèixer la seva importància en relació amb l'home des d'una perspectiva social i econòmica. Els objectius formatius concrets són: 1 - Introduir a l'alumne els principals conceptes estructuradors de la ciència de la Zoologia. - Entendre la sistemàtica i les relacions filogenètiques entre els principals grups d'animals com a resultat de processos evolutius i adaptatius. - Conèixer els principals nivells d'organització i patrons arquitectònics dels animals. - Conèixer la diversitat dels principals grups animals. - Donar uns coneixements bàsics sobre les característiques morfològiques, cicles biològics, importància ecològica i les interaccions amb l'home dels principals grups de animals.
Resum:	The subject Zoology is within the subject of Biology for the environmental sciences as a compulsory subject. It shares this subject, and therefore competences, with other compulsory subjects such as Microbiology, Ecology and Soil Sciences and a set of optional subjects such as: Vegetation analysis, Applied ecology, Toxicology, Environmental microbiology, Physiology Environmental and Genetics. Zoology is a compulsory subject that consists of 6 ECTS credits and is taught in the first semester of the second year. Throughout this course, the student must acquire the theoretical-practical knowledge that gives the student a vision, as fully as possible, of the bases of zoological knowledge and the diversity of animals from an environmental perspective, but also anatomical, functional, systematic and phylogenetic. It also has to allow the student to know animal diversity and place each animal group in an ecological context, know its position within the ecosystems in relation to the number of species, the habitat they occupy and their way of life, as well as to know its importance in relation to man from a social and economic perspective. The specific training objectives are: - To introduce to the student the main structuring concepts of the science of Zoology. - To understand the systematics and phylogenetic relationships between the main groups of animals as a 1 - To understand the systematics and phylogenetic relationships between the main groups of animals as a result of evolutionary and adaptive processes. - To know the main levels of organization and architectural patterns of animals. - To know the diversity of the main animal groups. - To give some basic knowledge about the morphological features, biological cycles, ecological importance and the interactions with the humans of the main groups of animals.
