Resumen:	En complir-se el cinquantenari del naixement de l'editorial Cobalto, es presenta el primer article que analitza en profunditat el procés de l'editorial Cobalto (1947-1953). L'editorial apareix amb Cobalto. Arte antiguo y moderno, una revista d'alta divulgació, neutra a l'art modern fins a esdevenir una aposta decidida per la modernitat en la seva darrera publicació: Joc net. Efectivament, amb el pas del temps l'editorial evoluciona -en sintonia amb altres episodis- i, tot ampliant les seves activitats, esdevé un punt de referència per a la recuperació de l'anomenat art modern a final dels anys quaranta i principi dels cinquanta. Entre altres fites, cal assenyalar l'edició d'un número especial dedicat al surrealisme, el primer estudi crític sobre el tema després de la guerra civil. Igualment, organitzarà la primera exposició de Miró i editarà les primeres monografies sobre Miró i Dalí després de la guerra civil. I més: donarà cobertura i col·laborarà amb l'associació Cobalto 49 -una plataforma per a la promoció de l'art modern- i editarà els fascicles Cobalto 49.
Resumen:	On the 50th anniversary of Cobalto publishing house, we present the first article to analize in depth how Cobalto publishing house works (1947-1953). The first published work appeared with the title Cobalto. Arte antiguo y moderno (Cobalto. Old and modern art), a magazine of wide circulation, which at first was of no particular leaning towards modern art but it became a firm supporter of modern trends evident in its latest publication: Joc net («Fair play»). Indeed, over the years the publishing house evolved -in tune with others events- and whilst broadening its scope, became a point of reference for the revival of what we know as modern art at the end of the 40s and the begining of the 50s. Among other aims it is worth mentioning the publication of a special issue on Surrealism, the first decisive study on the subject carried out after the Civil War. Furthermore, there will be the first exhibition of Miró's work and there will be published the first monographs on Miró and Dalí after the Civil War. Also, it will have a coverage and will collaborate with the Cobalto 49 association -a platform to promote art- and will publish the Cobalto 49, in instalments.
