Abstract:	Este artículo estudia el rollo genealógico de la Corona de Aragón conservado hoy en la biblioteca del monasterio de Poblet. La obra debió ser encargada por el rey Martín el Humano (1396-1410) para conmemorar a sus predecesores en el trono y, probablemente, servir de ejemplo a su hijo y presunto sucesor, Martín el Joven, rey de Sicilia, antes de su muerte, acaecida en 1409. El autor analiza el carácter de las imágenes reales pintadas en el pergamino, con el fin de precisar el significado político y cultural del rollo en relación con textos históricos y otros manuscritos iluminados que pueden vincularse a la corte durante el reinado de Martín el Humano. Las imágenes de los antiguos reyes de Aragón y condes de Barcelona sirvieron tanto como un tributo a los antepasados familiares como para enriquecer la memoria de la sucesión dinástica justo antes de su final.
Abstract:	This article studies the genealogical roll of the Crown of Aragon today preserved in the monastic library of Poblet. This work must have been commissioned by king Martin I the Human (1396-1410) to commemorate his predecessors in the throne and, probably, to serve as an example for his son and presumed successor, Martin the Younger, king of Sicily, before he died in 1409. The author discusses the character of the royal images painted on parchment in order to precise the political and cultural significance of the roll in relationship with historical texts and some other illuminated manuscripts connected with the court during king Martin's reign. The images of the ancient kings of Aragon and counts of Barcelona served both as a tribute to family ancestors and to enhance the memory of the dynasty succession before her very end.
