L'autora qüestiona la validesa del paradigma fidelitat/traïdoria de la traducció en relació amb el text de partida. Per fer-ho, parteix de la teorització psicoanalítica sobre el subjecte en relació amb el llenguatge considerat com a Altre. La psicoanàlisi mostra la subjecció del subjecte al llenguatge, fent evident la manca d'univocitat de la paraula i el privilegi del significant en la construcció de sentit. El traductor imprimeix una marca subjectiva en el text que produeix tot posant en relació els significants de la traducció amb el text de partida. |

The author puts into question the validity of the faithfulness/treason paradigm of the translated text in relation to the source text. To do this, the author uses the psychoanalytic approach to bring forth the relation of the Subject with the Language (being the Other). Psychoanalysis shows the subjection of the Subject to Language, and by doing so, brings evidence about the lack of fixed meaning within any word, and as a consequence about the privilege of the signifier in the construction of meaning. Psychoanalysis enables us to foresee the place of the translation in a way other than the one imposed by the classical paradigm, and to view translation as the place of authorship. |
