Resumen:	Scientific and technical Spanish terminological studies, especially in the 18th and 19th centuries, are very little developed. This is clearly seen due to the lack of a Spanish historical dictionary. In this paper a project on the elaboration of a scientific and technical dictionary of the time is presented on the basis of the texts provided. Special attention is paid to the contributions to the Spanish scientific language by some 18th and 19th centuries Catalan authors, through outstanding texts for the spread of the scientific and technical discipline.
