La investigación analiza el caso del módulo de Educación a distancia, que se imparte en el Instituto Latinoamericano de la Comunicación Educativa (ILCE). El artículo se organiza en cuatro apartados generales. En primer lugar, se presenta el Estado de Arte del objeto de estudio, en el cual, a partir de una revisión bibliográfica, se define el concepto de m-learning así como las ventajas de su uso en procesos educativos. En el segundo apartado se explica la experiencia realizada con alumnos del módulo de Educación a distancia. El tercero menciona la metodología y procedimiento para la recolección de datos. En el cuarto, se presenta el análisis de resultados, finalmente, se exponen las conclusiones extraídas de la discusión de los datos, donde se comprueba la importancia que está tomando la modalidad M-Learning como una metodología innovadora aplicada al proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, que no depende del espacio, el tiempo ni de ciertas marcas o modelos de teléfonos móviles para poder implementar actividades de aprendizaje de tipo: apoyo. The aim of this work was to measure the use of mobile devices inside the educational process, taking as indicators: to the participant, the use of the cellular one and the social dimension. The investigation analyzes the case of the module of Education distantly, that is given in the Latin-American Institute of the Educational Communication (ILCE). The article is organized in four general paragraphs. First, one presents the State of Art of the object of study, in which, from a bibliographical review, there are defined the concept of m - learning as well as the advantages of his use in educational processes. In the second paragraph is explained the experience realized with pupils of the module of Education distantly. The third party mentions the methodology and procedure for the compilation of information. In the quarter, one presents the analysis of results, finally, there are exposed the conclusions extracted from the discussion of the information, where there is verified the importance that is taking the modality M-Learning as an innovative methodology applied to the process of education and learning, which does not depend on the space, the time not on certain brands or models of mobile phones to be able to implement activities of learning type: I rest.
