In this paper a method for solving operator differential equations of the type X' = A + BX + XD; X(0) = Co, avoiding the operator exponential function is given . Results are applied to solve initial value problems related to Riccati type operator differential equations whose associated algebraic equation is solvable.

In this paper strongly right bounded rings are characterized, conditions are determined which ensure that the split-null (or trivial) extension of a ring is strongly right bounded, and we characterize strongly right bounded right quasi-continuous split-null extensions of a left faithful ideal over a semiprime ring . The topological centralizers of Toeplitz flows satisfying a condition (Sh) and their Z2-extensions are described. Such Toeplitz flows are topologically coalescent. If {q0,q1,…} is a set of all except at least one prime numbers and I0,I1,… are positive integers then the direct sum [fórmula disponible al document original] can be the topological centralizer of a Toeplitz flow.

We consider the problem of whether a union of complex hyperplanes can be a subset of a zero variety for the Hardy classes of the ball. A sufficient condition is found, consisting in a strong geometric separatedness requirement, together with a quantitative requirement slightly stronger than the necessary condition for Nevanlinna class zero varieties.

The problem of coincidence of the interpolation spaces obtained by use of the interpolation method of Gustavsson-Peetre generated by (parameters) quasi-concave functions is investigated. It is shown that a restriction of this method to the class of all non-trivial Banach couples gives different interpolation spaces whenever two different parameters satisfying some conditions are used.

We study the weak dimension of a group-graded ring using methods developed in [B1], [Q] and [R]. We prove that if R is a G-graded ring with G locally finite and the order of every subgroup of G is invertible in R, then the graded weak dimension of R is equal to the ungraded one.
