Este texto es una invitación a leer el artículo de Frederic C. Bartlett "Tipos de imaginación" publicado en 1928 en el "Journal of Philosophical Studies". Tras repasar algunos elementos de la biografía intelectual de Bartlett, se apuntan algunas claves para entender la vigencia de la obra y la figura de Bartlett tanto en la promoción de enfoques teóricos contemporáneos en Psicología como en la revisión de la historia misma de la Psicología.
This text is an invitation to read Frederic C. Bartlett's article "Types of imagination" published in 1928 in the "Journal of Philosophical Studies". After reviewing some elements of Bartlett's intellectual biography, some clues are suggested to understand the relevance of Bartlett's work and figure both in the promotion of contemporary theoretical approaches in Psychology and in the revision of the very history of psychology.
