El espacio del mito es el lugar donde la subjetividad humana entra en relación con los fenómenos objetivos estudiados hasta ahora por la ciencia, no para anularlos sino para enriquecerlos. La tarea básica de la ciencia ya no reside, de ahora en adelante, en rechazar y anular este espacio subjetivo, como ha venido haciendo hasta el momento, sino en incorporarlo a sus investigaciones, en desarrollar un método capaz de gestionar su básica diversidad.
The space of myth is where human subjectivity comes to terms with the objective events studied up to now by science, with the aim to enrich instead of cancelling them. From now on, science's basic task no longer lies in rejecting and cancelling this subjective space, as done up to now, but involving it in its investigation and developing a method able to manage its essential diversity.
