L'article elabora una aproximació formal i temàtica a la pel·lícula de Stanley Kubrick i a la literatura gòtica. Compara els recursos literaris i cinematogràfics utilitzats i reflexiona sobre la fascinació de Kubrick pel concepte del sublim i per la literatura fantàstica.
The article devises a thematic and formal approximation of the film of Stanley Kubrick and gothic fiction. It compares the film and literary resources utilized and focus on the fascination of Stanley Kubrick by the concept of the sublime and fantastic literature.
