En este trabajo, intentaremos revisar la pervivencia en el Waltharius (poema épico de principios del siglo IX) de algunas costumbres germánicas antiguas, retratadas por Tácito en su obra Germania, y las incertezas que algunos de sus personajes históricos sufren en la narración.
In this paper, we shall try to examine the survival in the Waltharius (epic poem written at the beginning of the ninth century) of some ancient Germanic customs, portrayed by Tacitus in his Germania, and the inconsistencies that some of its historic figures undergo in the story.
