15 p, 462.5 KB Uniform convergence of sine transforms of general monotone functions / Debernardi Pinos, Alberto (Centre de Recerca Matemàtica)
We obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the uniform convergence of sine integrals [fórmula] where g satisfies general monotonicity conditions. In contrast with the previous results on this topic, here we do not assume g ≥ 0.

24 p, 489.9 KB Uniform convergence of double sine transforms of general monotone functions / Debernardi Pinos, Alberto (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona)
We consider different classes of functions of two variables that satisfy general monotonicity conditions, and obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the uniform convergence in the regular sense and in the sense of Pringsheim of double sine transforms of functions of such classes.

28 p, 537.8 KB Uniform convergence of {Hankel} transforms / Debernardi Pinos, Alberto (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona)
We investigate necessary and/or sufficient conditions for the pointwise and uniform convergence of the weighted Hankel transforms [fórmula] where ν, μ ∈ R are such that 0 ≤ μ + ν ≤ α + 3/2. [...]

Institut d'Economia de Barcelona) ; Villamayor Tomás, Sergio (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Institut de Ciència i Tecnologia Ambientals) ; Corbera, Esteve (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Departament de Geografia)
Although in theory social justice is considered as a core dimension of agroecological transitions, alternative food initiatives related to agroecology have been criticised for their exclusionary practices based on important social and economic biases. [...]

33 p, 1.7 MB (Not) Addressing Issues in Electoral Campaigns / Barberà, Salvador 1946- (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) ; Gerber, Anke (Universität Hamburg) ; MOVE - Markets, Organizations and Votes in Economics
Two candidates competing for election may raise some issues for debate during the electoral campaign, while avoiding others. We present a model in which the decision to introduce an issue, or to reply to the opponent's position on one that she raised, may change the further list of topics that end up being discussed. [...]

Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics) ; Cohen, David (Umeå University. Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics) ; Quer i Sardanyons, Lluís (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Departament de Matemàtiques)
A fully discrete approximation of the one-dimensional stochastic heat equation driven by multiplicative space-time white noise is presented. The standard finite difference approximation is used in space and a stochastic exponential method is used for the temporal approximation. [...]

Departament de Matemàtiques) ; Jolis Giménez, Maria (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Departament de Matemàtiques) ; Rovira, Carles (Universitat de Barcelona. Facultat de Matemàtiques)
We give an approximation in law of the d-parameter Wiener process by processes constructed from a Poisson process with parameter in Rd. This approximation is an extension of previous results of Stroock (1982, Topics in Stochastic Differential Equations, Springer, Berlin) and Bardina and Jolis (2000, Bernoulli 4 (6)).

17 p, 443.8 KB Hankel transforms of general monotone functions / Debernardi Pinos, Alberto (Centre de Recerca Matemàtica)
We show that the Hankel transform of a general monotone function converges uniformly if and only if the limit function is bounded. To this end, we rely on an Abel-Olivier test for real- valued functions. [...]

This project revolves around the creation of a journalistic enterprise, between a traditional editorial and a journal publishing, which transgresses the media and publishing system in force until today with the aim of presenting the silenced media topics and with a strong social objective, as well as helping to integrate into the labor market all those young entrepreneurs and journalists that are not able to find a worthy job.
