To assess the contribution of age and comorbidity to the risk of critical illness in hospitalized COVID-19 patients using increasingly exhaustive tools for measuring comorbidity burden. We assessed the effect of age and comorbidity burden in a retrospective, multicenter cohort of patients hospitalized due to COVID-19 in Catalonia (North-East Spain) between March 1, 2020, and January 31, 2022. Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae (Mhyo) and Porcine circovirus 2 (PCV-2) are two of the most significant infectious agents causing economic losses in the weaning to slaughter period. Due to their similar vaccination age, the objective of this study was to assess the efficacy of two already existing Mhyo (Hyogen®) and PCV-2 (Circovac®) vaccines when administered separately or combined (RTM) by means of Mhyo or PCV-2 experimental challenges.
Las Batuecas del duque de Alba (Parte XXIII, Madrid, 1638) is an overtly liminal comedy, with a wide range of genres, themes, types, places and times. This article studies the noticeable hybridism of the Lope de Vega's piece, by scrutinizing aspects, such as genre, processes of hybridization experienced by characters, linguistic crossbreeding and the changing features of time and place in the play's particular chronotope.

Background: Adjusted clinical groups (ACG®) have been widely used to adjust resource distribution; however, the relationship with effectiveness has been questioned. The purpose of the study was to measure the relationship between efficiency assessed by ACG® and a clinical effectiveness indicator in adults attended in Primary Health Care Centres (PHCs). [...]

Different fieldwork conducted in the city of Turin shows that through the analysis of social services for immigrants one can see how general the dynamics of local policies are reflected. The main focus of the article is based on the supply-demand sides of social services for immigrants in the context partly of an increase in female immigration to the major cities in Italy, and partly of an arrangement of a progressive «welfare mix» in social services. [...] [...]
