Este trabajo pretende revisar los primeros datos epidemiológicos que sepublicaron sobre la tuberculosis humana de origen bovino. Para su elaboración, se ha recurrido exclusivamente a fuentes extranjeras, dada la ausencia histórica en España de estudios de tipificación, únicos que permitían sentar de forma categórica el tipo de bacilo implicado en cada caso.
The aim of this report is to revise the first published epidemiological data on human tuberculosis of bovine origin. Data have been exclusively collected from foreign resources due to the historical absence in Spain of typification studies, which are essential to categorically determine the typeofbacillus involved in each case.
