/
Berríos Ayala, Felipe (Universidad de Chile)
El presente trabajo aborda el problema del movimiento representacional de la subjetividad, entendido este como un despliegue de sí misma que tiene como resultado una operación de aparente «externalización» de sí. [...] Aquest treball aborda el problema del moviment representacional de la subjectivitat, entès com un desplegament d'aquesta que dona com a resultat una operació d'aparent «externalització» de si mateixa. Barbeito Veloso, Ma. Luz (María Luz) (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) ;
[...] Studies on advertising stereotypes in the radio are scarce and those that do exist have focused predominantly on female roles and stereotypes. The rise of feminist social movements and campaigns such as Gillette's 2019 campaign "The best men can be" suggest that something is changing in the advertising communication environment regarding gender stereotypes and the male role in society. The use of social media as a two-way mirror for narcissistic adolescents from Austria, Belgium, South-Korea, and Spain
/
Mas Manchón, Lluís (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) ;
Badajoz Dávila, David (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Departament de Publicitat, Relacions Públiques i Comunicació Audiovisual)
The use of social networking sites (SNS or social media) often comes with strong self-centered behaviors to promote self-appearance. The relationship between narcissism and social media use has intensively occupied scholars in the last decade, yet not much research has focused on, first, how the intensity of social media use (SNS use) is associated with narcissism through a self-centered appearance focused use of these SNS; and second, whether these associations are moderated or not by cultural differences of the country of origin in such a critical age of personality formation and (global) culturalization as the transition from pre-adolescence to adolescence.
[...] In the present article, we propose that Rosario Castellanos uses the Myth of Medusa in order to visibilize the way in which women writers in Mexican culture has been "fixed" - the same way a photograph is fixed- as some monstrous stereotype; at the same time, this Myth is used to construct an allegory of reflexive figures where women can be otherwise inscribed. Plasticity is one of the most important physiological mechanisms underlying motor recovery from brain lesions. Rehabilitation methods, such as mirror visual feedback therapy, which are based on multisensory integration of motor, cognitive, and perceptual processes, are considered effective methods to induce cortical reorganization.
