Climate change adaptation is a complex and dynamic process that has been found to produce unequal adaptive capacities for multiple users across a social ecological system (SES). Stemming from SES theories on adaptation, this thesis asks the question: How does divergent adaptation link to conflict and cooperation in a rural 'farmer-herder' SES?
