The Research Group Rights of Spanish and Foreign Workers (DRELATES) was acknowledged as an emerging group by the Generalitat de Catalunya in 2009. Nowadays, it's a Consolidated Group acknowledged by the Generalitat de Catalunya in 2014 (2014 SGR 264).The Group is made up of different professors and lecturers of Labour and Social Security Law at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona . Some of them have been working together in different research works long ago.It has developed research in multiple fields, as the regulations on the work of disabled people, and victims of social exclusion; the role of the government and union representative in redundancy procedures; social responsibility corporate; legal framework on the employment of mature employees, and in general, legal reforms in Labour and Social Security Law.
