Sports Research Institute (IRE-UAB)
The Sports Research Institute (IRE-UAB) is an interdisciplinary UAB institute promoting sport-related research, educational programmes and knowledge transfer activities. IRE-UAB gathers academic staff from 15 UAB Departments, trainee research, research support staff and project collaborators, and a strong local and international network of institutional academic relations.
It is based on the rich UAB historical capital in sport-related academic activities and university services for more than 30 years, such as the UAB Olympic Studies Centre and other consolidated research groups.
