Research group Wildlife Ecology and Health
Our group Wildlife Ecology and Health integrates ecology, pathology and statistical modelling to address wildlife health and management issues. We are a group of veterinary doctors, environmentalists, ecologists and pathologists focused on the study of wildlife with a multidisciplinary approach. Our research aim to understand the link between the environmental variation, the infectious diseases and the health of wildlife populations in a broad sense. We aim to develop not only a better understanding of the most common host-pathogen systems but also to provide a scientifically-sound foundation upon which to base wildlife population management and conservation measures.
