Over the last years, this field has seen examples of research showing performance comparable to the IR alternatives. In this work, we survey the previous work on remote, visible light gaze trackers and analyze the explored techniques from various perspectives such as calibration strategies, head pose invariance, and gaze estimation techniques. We also provide information on related aspects of research such as public datasets to test against, open source projects to build upon, and gaze tracking services to directly use in applications. With all this information, we aim to provide the contemporary and future researchers with a map detailing previously explored ideas and the required tools.Computational Intelligence and NeuroscienceHindawi Publishing Corporation2016/03/13Research articledoi:10.1155/2016/8680541en Pages: Page: Label: 1 Annotations: Annotation: Subtype: Link Rect: 50, 713, 175, 721 Page: Label: 2 Page: Label: 3 Page: Label: 4 Page: Label: 5 Page: Label: 6 Page: Label: 7 Page: Label: 8 Page: Label: 9 Page: Label: 10 Page: Label: 11 Page: Label: 12 Page: Label: 13 Page: Label: 14 Checksum: b11239cd Type: CRC32 Checksum: d50a96bbce56bb047c6560b4b8305798 Type: MD5 Checksum: 8a91cb96dd520ba3e1f883aa6d57d4d716c5d1c8 Type: SHA-1
