Our partner Corporación Tecnológica de Andalucía (CTA), hosted a webinar entitled “Work in Bioeconomy, present or future?”, as part of the UrBIOfuture Experience, on April 21st.

The session brought together around 50 attendees that could learn about the results of UrBIOfuture and the professional opportunities that the bioeconomy offers.

The webinar included a round table on the needs and challenges of companies active in bioeconomy, which counted with the participation of Bodegas Robles, NBT, Oleícola El Tejar, Futuralga and ADL Bionatur Solutions.

All the speakers of the webinar agreed that the professional profiles demanded by the industry depend on the stage each company is at. Nevertheless, there was consensus on the need for multidisciplinary profiles that understand the concept of the bioeconomy and have knowledge in cross-sectoral competences such as sales, marketing, and knowledge transfer.
