1 L'assignatura 'Literatura del Romanticisme Anglès' ofereix una introducció a la poesia anglesa del període de Romanticisme al Regne Unit (c. 1798-c. 1830) i també a unes obres representatives de la ficció novelística del mateix període, mitjançant la seva lectura, l'anàlisi, el debat i la interpretació. La formació obtinguda és imprescindible per a cursar la resta d'assignatures relacionades amb la Literatura Anglesa al llarg del grau en tant que el seu objectiu principal és formar l'estudiant com a lector. En completar l'assignatura Literatura del Romanticisme Anglès, l'estudiant podrà: Demostrar una molt bona comprensió lectora de les obres clau del Romanticisme en anglès Generar crítica literària bàsica mitjançant assaigs i presentacions. Utilitzar els recursos de qualsevol biblioteca universitària en relació a la matèria Literatura del Romanticisme Anglès. Expressar una valoració informada sobre els textos literaris que llegeixi. |

Literatura del Romanticisme Anglès (English Literary Romanticism) provides an introduction both to English 1 Literatura del Romanticisme Anglès (English Literary Romanticism) provides an introduction both to English poetry produced during the period of Romanticism in the UK (c. 1798 to c. 1830) and to representative works of English novelistic fiction written in the same period. The subject involves the reading, analysis, debate and interpretation of the selected works. The academic preparation deriving from this subject is essential for all subsequent courses in this degree relating to English Literature in the sense that the principal aim of this subject is to prepare students to be competent and effective readers. On successfully completing Literatura del Romanticisme Anglès, students will be able to: • Demonstrate a good level of reading knowledge as regards the key literary works of English Romanticism • Produce basic literary criticism through essays and presentations. • Use the resources of any university library relating to material on the literature of the English Romanticism. • Express an informed opinion onthe literary texts studied throughout thiscourse. |
