La bestialización del otro

Resum:	Se estudia el proceso del prejuicio, la prevención y la discriminación a través de una matriz narcisista que es planteada como fácilmente manipulable por mecanismos discursivos en un vínculo transferencial. Se sostiene que el grupo discriminado encarna los valores de un contrasujeto, carente respecto a la definición de sí que se da en un grupo determinado. Para ello no es necesario plantear un ataque a un grupo dado sino reorganizar valorativamente la identidad de un grupo que se constituye así en dominante respecto de todos aquellos definidos como privados de las cualidades identitarias del primero, un efecto de dicho proceso, el grupo discriminado pasa a poseer así para uno de los miembros del grupo secundario cuya identidad ha sido rede intersubjetivamente, cualidades bestializadas sentidas emocionalmente de manera espontánea, que van desde la prevención a la percepción de n olores o al asco de contacto. Se plantean estas reacciones como vinculadas el sentimiento de lo siniestro ("unheimlich") definido por Freud y con el proceso de la represión en psicoanálisis. Se dan ejemplos de dicho proceso en distintos momentos históricos y en distintos contextos culturales.
Resum:	This paper studies the process of prejudice, mistrust and discrimination that takes place in a narcisistic matrix which is easily manipulated by means of discursive mechanisms in a transferential bond. It is argued that the discriminated group embodies the values of a counter-subject, defficient in terms of the definition that the discriminating group assumes for itself. In order to activate the process, it is not necessary to attack a certain group, but just to reorganize the identity of the discriminating group from the point of view of values, in such a way that this group constitutes itself as dominant with respect to any other groups defined as lacking in terms of the identity qualities belonging to the former. As an effect of this process, the discriminated group comes to possess, for each of the members of the secondary group whose identity has been intersubjectively redefined, bestialized qualities emotionally felt in a spontaneous manner. These reactions may range from mistrust to the perception of bad smells or disgust at physical contact. The author considers these reactions as being related to the feeling of the uncanny [Unheimlich] as defined by Freud and to the process of repression in psychoanalysis. Examples of this process in different moments of history and different cultural contexts are given.
