Abstract: This work deals with the problems of "aesthetic discourse" and "social discourse" according to a semiotic perspective. The article will try to show how some literary texts articulate semiotic and feminism in a particular way. From this perspective, we will try to issue the permanence of certain themes, certain characters, and certain figures related to women in our speech and in our collective imagination. The recurring argument in this work is that both literary and artistic texts, which form part of our culture, behave as "translators" of the immediate experience of human beings.
