Resumen:	Verliebt en Berlín (Enamorada en Berlín), la versión alemana de Yo soy Betty la fea, fue la primera adaptación europea. Se emitieron dos temporadas entre 2005-2007 y ganó la Rose d'Or en 2006. La transferencia cultural de un guión original a otro contexto cultural se refleja en el nombre elegido para el protagonista Lisa Plenske. Este artículo examina la narración y la transformación estilística de la telenovela colombiana a un formato apropiado para la cultura alemana.
Resumen:	Verliebt in Berlin (In love in Berlin), the German adaptation of Yo soy Betty la fea, was the first adaptation in Europe, broadcast from 2005 to 2007 with two seasons and Rose d'Or winning in 2006. They changed the scripts and transformed them into the German cultural context. The cultural transfer of an original script into another cultural context is almost obvious in the name chosen for the protagonist in the adaptation, Lisa Plenske. This article deals with the narrative and stylistic transformation of the Columbian telenovela into a format that was appropriate to German culture.
