Abstract:	La forma es el punto de tensión de toda teoría estructural; es la idea programática de la última frase del Curso de lingüística general. la reconstrucción del uso hjelmsleviano del concepto nos permite emancipar su visión estructural del binarismo jakobsoniano. Hjelmslev desarrolla el programa de Saussure precisando el sentido de "forma": por una parte, mediante conceptos de su mismo rango que la delimitan: materia, substancia, forma; por otra, por medio de conceptos que la definen desde un punto de vista jerárquico: estructura, función, forma y sistema. Encontramos, sin embargo, una aporía: dos concepciones enfrentadas de forma: una vinculada al pensamiento participativo y continuo, propuesta antes de 1939, y aquella otra que se refiere al pensamiento lógico y discontinuo introducida al comienzo de los años 1940. la primera constituye una base para la semiótica contemporánea.
Abstract:	Form is the focus of tension of any structural theory: it is the programmatic idea of the the last sentence of Cours de Linguistique générale. By reconstructing the Hjelmslevien usage of this concept, we aim to emancipate his structural theory from jakobsonian binarism. Hjelmslev continues the Saussure's program to specifying the meaning of 'form': on the one hand by the concepts which delimit it on the same rank as purport, substance and form; on the other hand, by those who define it by the hierarchical sequence, as structure, function, form and system. We note, however, an aporia: two conceptions of form are opposed each other; that of participatory and continuous thought proposed before 1939, and that of logical and discontinuous thought of the early 1940s. The first is a basis for contemporary semiotics.
