The entrepreneurial dream - who is it for? This talk presents the results of a research project on transnational migrant entrepreneurship conducted between 2018 and 2022 in Spain, Switzerland, and Colombia. Building on 101 semi-structured interviews, ethnographic observations and participatory methods, the project investigated the role of mobility experiences in business-making processes. Specifically, we asked to what extent and under which conditions spatial mobility can become an asset for entrepreneurs. Disseminated in the form of scientific journal articles, blogs and a comic, the results raise awareness of the obstacles along the entrepreneurial path and challenge simplistic success stories.
