En este trabajo, partiendo de la palabra murmullo y de su vinculación con lo espectral (que debemos en buena medida a Pedro Páramo de Juan Rulfo), se analiza el modo en que se cruzan los elementos fantásticos con la memoria histórica en dos recientes novelas neorrurales, La forastera de Olga Merino y Vibración de José Ovejero. En el caso de la primera, se explica cómo un espíritu actúa como adyuvante en las pesquisas de la protagonista; para la segunda, se desgranan las tres partes en que se divide, analizando su disposición y su empleo de numerosos elementos fantasmagóricos para evocar la memoria de un pueblo del que todos quieren huir. Por último, se concluye apuntando a la vinculación de estas dos novelas con Pedro Páramo, en el primer caso de signo actancial y en el segundo de índole estructural. |

In this paper, starting from the word murmur and its link with the spectral (which we owe, above all, to Juan Rulfo's Pedro Páramo), we analyze the way in which fantastic elements intersect with historical memory in two recent neo-rural novels, La forastera 114 by Olga Merino and Vibración by José Ovejero. In the case of the former, it is explained how a spirit acts as an adjuvant in the protagonist's investigations; for the latter, the three parts into which it is divided are described, studying its structure and its use of numerous phantasmagoric elements to evoke the memory of a town from which everyone wants to flee. Finally, we conclude by pointing out the link between these two novels and Pedro Páramo, in the first case of an actantial sign and in the second of a structural nature. |
