Resum:	Alongside the increasing prevalence of obesity, has been growing calls for interventions to reduce its prevalence, with arguably limited success given the continued rise. The overwhelming societal rhetoric has framed obesity as a result of a lack of willpower with individual agency the focus for prevention and treatment in policy and interventions. This is a key contributor to the pervasiveness of weight stigma, with blame directed towards PWO (and parents of children living with obesity).
