Influencias del rebec europeo sobre el rabel hispánico a finales de la Edad Media en la Corona de Aragón

Resum:	Fruto de la fusión entre la lyra bizantina y el rabab árabe surgió y se desarrolló en la Europa medieval el rebec europeo. Sin embargo, diversas fuentes iconográficas parecen indicar que la música hispana -al menos por lo que a la antigua Corona de Aragón se refiere- se mantuvo ajena a ese tipo de rebec hasta muy avanzado el siglo XV, conservando entre sus instrumentos un tipo de rabel estrechamente emparentado con el rabab árabe. A partir de fuentes iconográficas y documentos, el presente artículo adelanta ligeramente la cronología mencionada, y muestra cómo -en la Corona de Aragón- los contactos entre el rebec europeo y el rabel hispánico (tipo rabab) se iniciaron ya hacia la segunda mitad del siglo XIV (o durante la primera mitad del siglo XV).
Resum:	In medieval Europe, the Western rebec emerged and developed as a result of the cross between the byzantine lyre and the moorish rabab. Nevertheless, several iconographical sources point out that this rebec was extraneous to the Spanish music -at least in the ancient Crown of Aragon- until the middle of the 15th-century: in its place we find a kind of rabel tightly related to the moorish rabab. Starting from written documents and iconographical sources, this article shows how the contacts between the Western rebec and the Spanish rabel had alredy started in the Crown of Aragon in the second half of the 14th-century (or at least during the first half of the 15th-century).
