Una concepción moderna de la virtud cívica

Abstract:	Según los defensores de la tesis de la tangente ática, en el mundo antiguo griego y romano se daba una convergencia entre virtud, la libertad y la felicidad. En cambio, el mundo que Benjamín Constant denominó de los modernos se produce el ocaso de la tangente ática y el vínculo queda roto. Los autores que sostienen la tesis de la tangente ática abogan por la recuperación de dicho vínculo. En el presente trabajo se argumenta en favor de la concepción moderna de la virtud cívica y por el abandono consciente y definitivo de la tesis clásica de la tangente ática.
Abstract:	Champions of attic tangent thesis argue in the ancient Greek and Roman world civic virtue, freedom and happiness used to converge. On the other hand, in the world called modern's by Benjamin Constant civic virtue declined and the link became broken. Authors in favour of attic tangent thesis propose to rebuild the link. This current work argue in favour of the modern conception of civic virtue and giving up the attic tangent thesis deliberately and forever.
