Resum:	La colonización sionista de Palestina fue desde el inicio un proyecto nacionalista de base étnica que buscó la separación de la población palestina y su expulsión. La creación de un Estado para el pueblo judío exigía un territorio "limpio" para asentar a los inmigrantes judíos. La tierra se consiguió con las conquistas de 1947-1948 y la expulsión de alrededor de 800. 000 palestinos. Sin embargo, las bases del futuro Estado se establecieron antes de la fundación de Israel, principalmente durante el Mandato. La dinámica de limpieza étnica, al igual que la de apartheid, se inició con la colonización a finales de siglo XIX, y sobre todo creció con el Mandato británico. En un artículo anterior ya analizamos la dimensión de la defensa del trabajo judío, en éste trataremos el proceso de judaización del territorio.
Resum:	The Zionist colonization of Palestine was, from the beginning, an ethnically-based nationalist project that sought to separate and expel the Palestinian population. The creation of a state for the Jewish people demanded a "cleansed" territory in which Jewish immigrants could settle. The land was obtained with the conquests of 1947-8 and the expulsion of 800,000 Palestinians. However, the foundations of the future state were laid before, mainly during the Mandate. The dynamics of ethnic cleansing, as with apartheid, began with the colonization at the end of the 19th century and increased under the British Mandate. In a previous article I analyzed the dimension of the defence of Jewish labour, and in this one I shall deal with the process of the Jewification of the territory.
