| Resumen: |
As defined by the European Commission in the Horizon 2020 Guidelines on Open Access to Scientific Publications and Research Data, research data (also referred to as primary data) refers to information, whether factual or numerical, that is collected for the purpose of study and analysis, and that serves as a basis for reasoning, discussion or calculation. In the context of research, we include: statistics, results of experiments, measurements, observations from field work, results of surveys, recordings of interviews and images. The data will be derived from measurements, comparisons, calibrations and validations developed according to the standard of the archaeological discipline as described in the reference manuals of this field of knowledge. The material examined will come from both new excavations and collections recovered during previous phases of the project. The datasets generated will be used to achieve the objectives of the project and in conference and peer-reviewed publications. The collection and provision of data from the analysis of archaeological materials is fundamental to this project. This will enhance the credibility and quality of scientific publications. It will also help to establish a permanent library of results, which will help to document the evolution of performance over several years and allow other researchers to independently validate the results. This approach will ensure a sustainable impact and is in line with the FAIR principles, the HORIZON ODS and the requirements of the Spanish government. |
