En este artículo, el trabajo de Gilberto Esparza, Plantas nómadas, es escuchado como un llamado de atención artística para tomar conciencia del Antropoceno y el colapso que esta era anuncia. Se expone la idea sobre una necesaria mutación que asuma un cambio de paradigma en donde el pensamiento complejo se torna imprescindible, reflejado en su obra como la comprensión del sentido que se articula desde la semiótica y a partir de la pragmática, en una suerte de apertura poética que modifica la percepción ambiental.
