El crecimiento del sector de la producción independiente para televisión lo sitúa como un segmento cada vez más importante dentro de la industria audiovisual. Este artículo plantea un estudio de la producción independiente en Andalucía, situando su peso en relación con el conjunto de España, caracterizando y clasificando a sus empresas y analizando el rol jugado por la televisión pública autonómica para el desarrollo de esta industria.
The independent TV production sector is becoming increasingly important for the audiovisual sector thanks to its growth. This article studies the independent production in Andalusia, measures it in relation with its Spanish counterparts, characterizes and classifies its firms and analyses the role played by the autonomous public service broadcaster in its development.
