Breccia retoma desde el lenguaje de la historieta una de las grandes cuestiones para el arte del siglo XX: ¿cómo representar lo irrepresentable? Breccia lo hace desde los intersticios que esa cultura le ha dejado a la historieta, abriéndola a los efectos de técnicas, dejándoles el centro de la escena a los efectos de técnicas como el monotipo o el collage.
Breccia retakes from the language of comics one of the big questions for the art of the twentieth century: how to represent the un-representable? Breccia does it from the interstices that culture has left comics, leaving the scene to the efects of techniques like monotype or the collage.

Analizamos los cómics Lint, de Chris Ware, y Wilson, de Daniel Clowes. Estudiamos el emplazamiento de estos trabajos dentro de la obra de ambos y del mundo de los cómics independientes norteamericanos, focalizando en sus elecciones formales y su dimensión narrativa.
We analyze the comics Lint by Chris Ware and Wilson by Daniel Clowes. We consider the location of these works inside the larger body of work of both authors and in the world of independent north-american comics, focusing on their formal choices their narrative dimension.

Fun Home, de Alison Bechdel (2007), es un ejemplo típico del género que en Estados Unidos ha sido designado como "novela gráfica" en los últimos veinte años. Bechdel incorpora un diálogo con la literatura clásica y moderna, lo que permite poner en cuestión el carácter "posmoderno" de esta obra.
Alison Bechdel's Fun Home (2007) is a typical example of the genre that in the USA has been designated by the term "graphic novel" for the past twenty years. Bechdel enters in a very interesting dialogue with classical and modernist literature, allowing to question the "postmodern" character of this work.
