Three Epimyrma species and two Chalepoxenus species are known from the Iberian Peninsula according to present knowledge; E. kraussei , E. ravouxi and C. muellerianus are new records. Scarcity of these two social parasitic ant genera in our peninsula seems to be related with insuficient collecting and not to a very rareness of them.
