Amb la present recerca es pretén aclarir el rol de la figura professional de l'assistent/a sexual a Espanya. A partir de la seva conceptualització i la regulació espanyola, i comparant amb com aquest mateix fenomen és tractat a la resta d'Europa, es vol realitzar una comparativa amb la figura professional de la prostitució per resoldre la incertesa de si es podrien encabir en la mateixa categoria professional, i, per tant, regular dins el mateix marc legal.
In the present investigation, we intend to clarify the role of the professional figure of the sexual assistant in Spain. From its conceptualization and Spanish regulation, and comparing how this same phenomenon is treated in the rest of Europe, we want to make a comparison with the professional figure of prostitution to resolve the uncertainty of whether they could be included in the same professional category, and, therefore, regulate within the same legal framework.
