This article presents a method for analysis of televisions shows and movies that explains how audiovisual products are a source for the analysis of the recent past. This method shows how the human beings are portrayed, the scenarios where they act and the social framework of their activities, revealing the ways of life of each period in relation to the common issues and particular characteristics of each collective.
