El propósito de este artículo es mostrar la presencia de E. T. A. Hoffmann y particularmente de su concepción sobre lo fantástico en una selección de textos de autores mexicanos. Para ello, en primer lugar, se define en qué consiste la aportación que supuso su obra y, luego, mediante la revisión de algunos ejemplos se evidencia en qué medida los escritores se aproximaron a ella y asimilaron sus aportaciones.
The purpose of the article is to show the presence of E. T. A. Hoffmann and particularly his conception of the fantastic in a selection of texts by Mexican authors. For this, first, the contribution of his work is examined then, through the review of some examples it is shown to what extent the writers approached it and assimilated their contributions.
