The aim of this article is to analyze the references to Spanish wines in translations of Shakespeare's Henry IV (Parts I and II) published in Spain in the 19th and 20th centuries. Although various studies have dealt with this topic, from the pioneering work by Duque (1981) to the more recent one by Leal Cruz (2015), no chronological analysis has been carried out to provide a historical view of the translation of these references over the centuries.
